Ron Herring, operations manager at PPG Industries’ industrial coatings manufacturing facility in Mount Vernon, Illinois, has presented Waltonville Grade School with Donna Burlison, PPG customer service representative, to present a PPG Industries Foundation check to benefit students. Librarian Darla Oliver and Principal Dawn Hamson received nearly $1,000 to fund the lower-grades Book Club.

“My son loves reading, and I am so proud to see 40 students will now be participating in a Book Club here,” Herring said. “PPG is strongly committed to supporting the communities where it operates and the schools where its employees are involved.”
